Reach Of Social Media…. To Help Save A Life
Many of you were involved in some intensive tweeting several weeks ago when, with the help of many celebrities and comedians, we launched our #CancersNoJoke campaign. To recap, our intent was strictly to raise awareness of the need for more bone marrow donors and to use Twitter, with the help of our followers, to help spread the message and get more people to understand the need to become registered.
We spent a total of $200 for the campaign (for the cost of a press release) and the entire campaign was run on Twitter. The social media results? Well, with over 22 million unique impressions, it was a GREAT campaign…….see below for yourself.
